Sports Games for Playstation 3?

okay, so i need a new game...and i am looking at sports game since i already have resistance fall of man....i am trying to decide on Madden 08 or Tiger Woods 08, i am big into football, but also LOVE playing the golfing games...and i was looking at the tiger woods game and it looks sweet being able to make the golfer look like yourself and everything, but i think madden 2008 would be the smart, choice....but ive heard thats its not that good for ps3, and that is chops around since its only running at 30 screens per whatever it is........is it really that bad?? THANKS!!
