Help please!! question about cardiothoracic surgeon?

Training to be a cardiothoracic surgeon is the same in any state, not just GA. First med school (4 years) then internship (1 year), then general surgery residency (3-5 + years) then a fellowship/subspecialty in cardio thoracic, then even more specialization in perhaps pediatrics etc. You get your medical license like any MD after taking all the exams (by the end of internship).
