Help!! what shall i do?

I need some advice. There’s this bloke I know who likes me and keeps pestering me all the time so I thought I’d try and set him up with my friend. I took her to his house yesterday to see what she thought and she said she likes him and he said that he likes her. Then, today the bloke txt me and said he didn’t like my friend and I’ve already told her that he said he did! Yesterday they arranged to go out tonight ( with me and my other friend ) and she’s really looking forward to it. Shall I just switch off my phone and not go?
