Is the fake war on terror increasingly becoming the fake war on global warming?

Have you noticed drastic price increases and drastic "penalties" for using more than the rationed/allotted amount of energy/water? This infrastructure was created and is sustained with tax dollars. Why are the prices skyrocketing for less service when a large "pool" of tax money is always supposed to cover things and keep cost and prices low?
